Well, when I did shoot, I had an Oneida Eagle. Best compound I have ever used. No wall.

I have a PSE Baby-G-Force that I picked up used a couple years ago. Copper John 3 pin fiber optic sight and a cheap Wal-Mart Allen drop away rest (that works awesome) with a metal D ring and a Cobra release.

It shoots pretty good. Fairly fast, kinda loud but I haven't scared a foam deer away yet. Only thing I want to change is to get a sight with more pins.

Oh, thanks for reminding me crave. My first bow was a fiber-glass Bear recurve. Then I moved up to my dad's old Bear compound (complete with Chiquia Banana sticker). That thing was turned all the way down and the draw weight was still more than I weighed.

How do you like that Eagle? My dad is friends with one of the guys that owned Oneida, and used to shoot with him a lot before he moved to NY.

I still have a Golden Eagle Turbo Hunter compound, a Stemmler take down recurve and in the process of making bows out of pacific yew which I have a wack of.

I don`t shoot as much as I use to though just cause I don`t have the yard I use to have.

I see those Oneida's once in a while, what a crazy design.

I shoot a Reflex Charger (reflex was made by Hoyt, but they dropped the brand in 08 when I got my bow). I've got a quick detach quiver, toxonics 5pin with micro adjust everything, NAP Apache drop away rest, and a cheapy stabilizer that came with the bow, plus wrist sling. I am currently shooting Rebel Lite arrows with Rage broadheads on the end for deer, montec's when I do bear. For deer she's turned down to 65 lbs, for bear I crank it up to 72.

I would like to pick up either a bowtech destroyer 340, or a Hoyt Maxxis, and some Easton St Axis arrows (I am not a fan of Carbon Express, me having them is basically just a function of the shop I work at not carrying easton and they were cheap at the time).

Glad to see there are lots of people enjoying the awesome sport of archery, and hopefully bow hunting!!

Oh geeze, I haven't shot my bow in years...

It's a Browning something or other, I'd have to go look. Got it set up with a fiber optic sight, kisser button, release, string silencers, weight and such. Got a bunch of custom made arrows too (aluminum). I stopped shooting it a couple years ago, got too expensive shooting custom arrows, at 25 yards I was playing Robin Hood and destroyed a few arrows by hitting them with the next.

Yea its awesome the first couple times you do it, but you soon realize arrows aren't that cheap to replace :bawling:

Very true, I think the last time I got some arrows made up for me, it was like $25 for 6 of 'em. So at nearly $5 a piece, it's not so fun to be deadly accurate. I have no idea what it would cost for new arrows now, I haven't bought any in several years.

Yeah, but its that crazy design that give them their awesome performance and draw characteristics.

There is NO wall, it's one smooth easy motion the whole way back. On a regular compound bow 50 lb was my max draw weight (bear in mind, I haven't shot in almost 10 years) and I would only get 10 or 15 draws from it before I was exhausted. I had my Oneida dialed up to 75 (that model's max) and would shoot all day and not notice.
