I have a 1979 F-150 4x4 and I wanted to make up my mind on swapping in a 460 or keeping the good ole 351m in it. But my question is why do these two engines with about 109 cubic inches apart have the same gas mileage? This is really stumping me. If any of you guys can help me confirm this I think I'm gonna go with a 460 in my truck especially since I plan on bigger tires and off-roading a lot with it.
