So as the title states...I'm curious about what kind of knives and multi tools everybody has and also, which ones you actually carry.

I'll post up mine when I get off work tonight.

Lets see what you guy's have got!

I have a Gerber Suspension. I don't carry it on my person at all times, but it lives in the glove box of my Ranger and has come in handy MANY times.

It's the latest in a string of Gerber's I've had. I LOVE them!

As do I. My love of Gerber's began when my dad found one back in '95 one night after bringing his bus back yo the garage.

The jaws were busted, but Gerber fixed them up at NO CHARGE. That same year, he gave me one for Christmas. There's been one at my side or in my truck ever since.

They've saved my butt and the day a few times.

customized SOG tool. Works exactly how I need it, when I need it. Compound leverage and replaceable / changeable tools are perfect for me.

Knives? I make most of my own sheath knives and have them heat treated. Pocket carry is a single blade, 20yr old black buck knife (small one) and a crossgrip titanium from SOG.

I guess a man's pocket knife is just like his truck: customized for what he needs.

Gerber multitool and pocket knife. Also carry a Buck that I got from a garage sale for .50. I love the Buck, It holds a edge better than the gerber

Tools and trucks ... both work best for a specific task if customized. I have 2 trucks, each customized to a task, and a customized multi-tool.

I have a Gerber Suspension Multi-tool, CRKT M16-01Z Knife, and a Smith & Wesson Knife. I carry all 3 of these every day including a pair of pliers, a Fenix E20 flashlight, and a Swiss-Tech Flashlight... oh and of course my phone, all of these things are on the same belt, its a miracle the belt actually stays up...

I ALWAYS carry a fullsize pair of pliers, they kick ass, much better than a multi-tool, they're just so much stronger and you can hammer them, smash them, and they still work... they're CeeTee pliers by the way, best brand of pliers I've ever used.

I never go anywhere without my Leatherman Kick and my Stylus Streamlight. :icon_thumby:

A multitool isn't as good as a regular screwdriver/pliers, but they work well in a pinch.

My vise grips is my mulitools i use'em for everything I usually have a small set with all the time in my car. Better than duct tape. You'll be amazed at the uses I can get of of those things.

Interesting Nathan, it appears it has a flipper to open it? After having a flipper on this CRKT, I wouldn't buy a knife without one, its just so much faster, and in states that can't have assisted opening or automatic knives, its a fast compromise.

And @McLaren, I have a vice grips with a screwdriver and couple knives in it, pretty handy when I actually carried it, now it just rides in the center console.
