Crocodile Dundee had a bowie, not a fighting knife. Kabar made the knives used by the marines in WWII.This is the same pattern, with modern materials.
Good lookin' knife.

Thanks, my thoughts were, if I'm going to be stranded somewhere and have to survive, what kind of knife would I want. Marine Corp. Issue is what came to mind.

By the way, I'm also looking at a Bowie knife from HERE (http://www.knifeoutlet.com/shop/10Expand.asp?ProductCode=CABOWIE), but it would be WAY illegal to have it in my vehicle.

Thats a big 10-4 on that for sure. My late cousin Casey told me once you get a good knife, don't ever leave home without it. So that being said, I have a Shrade Exteme Survival lockblade knife that goes everywhere I go.:icon_thumby:

Can never go wrong with a Ka-Bar. That thing is bad ass. I just got myself a new Benchmade knife for an EDC. Its not quite that big haha
