i have a 84 bronco ii i am puttin motor tranny and tcase from a 95 explorer in

do u think there is enuff room to take motor tranny and tcase out at once and put in the bronco ii

/edit its 4.0

If you yank out the entire core support I suppose it could happen. I mean, it's been done, but it's a really tight fit.

well i think i can put the t-case on but i never could get trannys on maybe motor and tranny would be better then

I put in the motor and the trans together with a 2" body lift and my helper had put in a lot of motors. Not sure if I saved time or not manual is easier to put in though.

cut 2 feet out of my core support and slid all three in. then just welded it back together

Its not bad in a full size, as lomg as u have the hoist that can tilt the engine. As for a B2, it would be hard due to the front crossmember for the tranny. If u have help, Id just go ahead and separate them. Gives u more room to figure things out. I'm puttin my 94 4.0 in my 90 B2 this weekend. I wish u luck.

odds of me gettin help is slim everyone around here at my house thinks my truck shouldnt be done and keeps tryin 2 **** me over on things

Just go ahead and prove em wrong, it'll make u feel better.

Ive done the swap out of an 94 explorer. It is a verrry tight fit. Take out the AC cooler, Radiator, and Rad Fan to give you the precious forward inches you need.

ok 95 ford explorer 4.0 i got it rdy to pull but where do i grab on it 2 lift out lol never took one out b4

the easiest way i found was to hook a chain to each exahust manifold.

when u all did 4.0 swap did u keep ur rad or mod the 4.0 one in?

Yeah u need the big 4.0 radiator anyways. the puny ones they put in aren't worth squat.
