Ive done some off roading and not been very careful which is stupid. ive hit a few bumps to hard and things like that. But now when i switch from 4 wheel to 2 wheel it sticks sometimes but eventually comes out. any ideas on what could be wrong and the cost it would take to fix?

Thanks for Any suggestions

If you got the auto hubs, you may have to back it up several feet after you take it out of 4 hi to get the hubs to release. As I understand it, this is normal.

when your switching, make sure that you have driven in a straight line for 50 feet or so, so that there is minimal tension between the front and rear axles.

what is likely happening is either your trying to disengage right after/during a turn or possibly the tire pressures are significantly different between the front and rear of your truck which could also lead to binding.
