Door Close Torx Size

Hey Guys,

Can anybody tell me what size the torx bolt is that is in the door jam that the door latch clips onto when you close the door? The biggest I've got is a T40 and it's bigger than tha. It's an '88 extended cab. I got new door gaskets - no more rattles! :headbang:

i think its a 55 but not sure..how much was the door gaskets?

T-55 is the head size for the bed bolts, the head bolts on the Cologne engines
and the seat mount bolts on the later trucks.

The door latch strikers are T-50

T-50 like AD said..... At least that's what mine are....

Thanks for the info. I don't remember exactly what the gaskets cost - i bought them along with the "anti-rattle kit" for both door windows from LMC. The total was around $120
