so it was running very poorly i replaced spark plugs and found out it was only running on 4 cylinders , the new plugs and wires made a huge diffrence,i also replaced the cap and rotor, about two weeks later it started stalling out once the engine is hot and now wont fire at all , my coil is good but theres no spark when i test it, so i have a another ingnition control module which i just plugged in to see if it would work, but it made no diffrece?does it have to be bolted to the dizzy in order to ground?any suggestions?

Yes, it has to be bolted on to the distributor to work correctly. Also, check your carburetor. How is your fuel mileage? Does it smell like its running rich? Could also have a choke problem. Hope this helps some and let us know how it turns out.
