i can't reply to ads on craiglist via email because its saying i need my POP3 or IMAP for incoming email and SMTP for outgoing email from my email provider. Can someone tell me what the hell this is and where i can find it? Thanks in advance.

what email progam do you use. it should be in the settings. If yoi use web mail go to the help tab and search pop email settings.

What I found is that if you get it to pop out the email thing just copy paste the sending info to your other account... or atleast thats what I do.

Apparently if you have vista it prevents emails from going out directly from CL even if its setup right... I found this out after missing out on a pristen 00 ranger for 200 bucks because it didn't have a transmission.
