3.0L speed limiter

what speed is it supposed to kick in at?

I hit like 92 or so today and it felt like the tranny was kickin me back.

2003 Ford ranger edge. 3.0

i'm just curious when its supposed to kick in.

92mph is right where it should be, and that "kicking back" is just the ecu cutting fuel to stop you from going faster.

Weird, mine runs right up to 100 without much change, but hits 100 like a brick wall. I'm not the first owner, is it possible to get that parameter changed?

yeah i wanna change mine but you have to buy a reprogrammer which is like 300$.

Thats the only solution AFAIK

Just making sure 92MPH was right. My friends 2001 4L hits 98.
