i was coming home tonight and my gas light came on. i was wondering how long can you usually go with out running out of gas after that light comes on?
 
My 2001, the light comes on when I have about 3.0 gallons left in the tank. Now I can't convert that to litres, but there's lots of gas/petrol left in the tank when mine comes on.

Here in the states, I've seen reports of the light coming on with 1.5-3.0 gallons left in the tank. Best bet is to go fill the truck up, and see how much it took. Find out your tank size, simple subtraction of when your light turns on, then figure out how much farther you could have gone based on your mileage or kilometerage. lol.
