would a 84-92 extra cab ranger body and bed work on a 87 f150 5.0 4x4 frame with body mount modification? Would axles need to be moved and frame shortened? thanks.

my friend rolled his f150 and might sell me it for 500 bucks its a 5.0 with 5 speed manual. would it be easier to put the motor and tranny and drivetrain in the ranger?

Do you have a welder, a torch and fab skills? If so anything can be done. I know I've seen rangers on 78-79 bronco frames, and I also saw one on an EB frame. It may be easier just to swap the motor/trans. The trans may take some work to fit... it a ZF?
