cant get into low range

i swapped out the auto for a mitsy 5 speed in my 89 b2 and i cant figure out the wiring to get my low to work anyone seen a tech article that goes into detail?

Cut a hole in the floor and hook up a manual shifter for the T-case? :icon_thumby:

if you take the auto shifter off you should see the nubby, after that i draw blanks :icon_confused:
