I have an 85 Ranger, with a problem!
After A recent fire in the engine compartment I was forced to park my rig. I am now ready to begin work again. I Have a break in the hood latch cable, somewhere in the engine compartment. The cable is pulled into the cab and I cant unlatch the hood. The issue I have is the expanded metal grill guard guard is limiting my ability to reach the latch.
Please let me know if you have any ideas on opening the hood without the use of a cutting torch?
