Temp gauge not working

I have a 1990 bronco II 2.9 4x4. Recently I just replaced all my fuel injectors to increase my fuel performance. After i put everything back together I noticed that my temperature gauge no longer works it stays pegged at below zero. Before the injector change it worked fine. I have since replaced the temperature sensor and confirmed that the wires connected to the jack were still ok. I tested the old temp sensor and it appears to work ok. testing resistance I see a resistance change the hotter it gets. After all this my gauge still does not work. Does anyone have any idea as to why this would suddenly just stop? Any suggestions?

Wiring

Seeing as how you've replaced the injectors, check the wiring on the top of the engine for damage, check to make sure all your connectors are together, OK, and not corroded. A good thing to do is to put some dielectric grease in the connectors whenever you pull them apart. This helps to keep out the moisture (not so much of a problem with modern weatherpack connectors).

Check the engine grounds.

IF you were working on the injectors you had the ground lugs that
connect to the upper intake loose

Also check the ground wire that runs between the back of the drivers side cylinder head and the Wiper motor.

Oddly messing with that one also causes weirdness in the temp guage operation.
