like the title says, i listen to music and the sound gets almost draged out in an up and down motion, if you know what i mean, so when i try to listen to ac/dc is sounds like some classic Oak Ridge Boys music, lol

any ideas on how this randomly happened? is my speakers shot?

It is either your speakers, sound card, or both are toast, or you need to update the driver for your sound card.

Hook the speakers and sound card up in another PC and see if it still does it. If it does, remove the speakers and use another pair. If it still does it, then it is your sound card.

Never mind, if you don't know how to get the sound card out, then take it to someone who can help you.

Can you post a picture of the back of your PC, the side where all the cords go into it? I will be able to tell you if you have a removable sound card.

Some sound devices are built into the mother board and can't be removed without damaging the mother board.

Yes.

You need to take the side off the case to remove the sound card. Once it is off, you will see how to get it out. It is real simple.
