Ok i was having trouble with my 1354 electric shift t-case in my 94 ranger super and a buddy of mine had a 88 ranger with a 1350 in it. I swaped the t-cases but i had to also swap the universal yolks. My rear drive shaft works but my front is actually too long. I tried the drive shaft off the other truck but it is too long also. anyone got any suggestions or same prob???

You need to get the Driveshaft from the 88 shortened.

There were never any D35's offered with the 1350.

You could find a driveshaft from an 83-84 ranger/B2.

The Tk transmissions and the C5's were shorter so the front driveshaft would be that much shorter.

And that shaft would be too short since he has the long trans. You want a front shaft out of a 85-87 FM145 or TK5 truck.

There is one of two switches

Older ones only have a single pole switch that lets you know when your in 4x4 and lights a light on the dash. For the wireing of it one of the two on your truck go to the switch. Don't remember if it's the light blue one or the light blue/blk.

Newer ones are a two pin switch which lights a 4x4 light and a low range light. From what I remember all models were wired with this plug. It's located on the drivers side fender with a couple other plugs. It will be open or capped. Blue wires. There is a harness that plugs from the t-case plug to the fender plug.

The rest of the electrical can go for a ride.
