I was zeroing the scope and it was a good group. And for some reason, I don't believe your surplus Mosin will shoot 1/5 MOA.What... you're shooting high at only 150 yards!!! I can put a hole in that quarter with my Mosin at 500!

Yep it's just a basic Springer GI MilSpec. I love the Hogue grips, as my hands are big. I put in a Fusion trigger group with trigger. Also a Wilson stainless barrel bushing and extended mag release. It's just my truck gun and "beater" pistol if you will. What brand 45 is that in the photos?Springfield? How you like the grips,I put some on mine but haven't shot it with the new grips.
Nice collection!
I like the hogues on my RIA Tactical, just haven't been able to get the gang out to our spot to blow up two litre bottles(the enemy) since I added them.Yep it's just a basic Springer GI MilSpec. I love that RIA Tactical. I almost picked one up, but I like doing my own work on my firearms, so I just got a basic GI. I'm going to nickel plate it when I get a kit to do it. It gets alot of surface rust sittin in my truck with this high humidity.I like the hogues on my RIA Tactical, just haven't been able to get the gang out to our spot to blow up two litre bottles(the enemy) since I added them.
Here is my humble collection so far.

Nothing wrong with doing your own work,I've seen some good examples over at m1911 forums.Keep us posted on the progress.I love that RIA Tactical. It was my first 1911, so I wanted to learn it inside and out, too. But if I pick up another one, it won't be a Kimber or Wilson, it'll be that Tactical that you have. Well, maybe a Para fullsize. Can't argue with 14 rounds in a 1911. And no, there is no cure to rifle fever. Especially when it comes to ARs. My dad gave me my first one after bootcamp, and I've built 3 others since then.Nothing wrong with doing your own work,I've seen some good examples over at m1911 forums.Keep us posted on the progress.
Don't have the funds just yet,but I am getting rifle fever,is there a cure?
