stupid question... trailer hitch from ranger?

ok i found a class 3 trailer hitch from a ranger, not sure the year... will it fit under my bronco ii? any one know, i imagine it will just wanna double check with that rear gas tank i'm not sure.

Frame rails are a different width in the rear of a BII than a ranger.

Actually the frame isthe same width, but the profile of the frame (in the vertical)
isn't the same nor are the bumper mount bolts which affects the placement of the bolts that hold it in.

It's the Explorer that is wider in the back.
