I put together a page listing some common problems with the Ranger. CLick HERE (http://www.therangerstation.com/tech_library/common_problems.html) and take a look before asking questions.

Ya. Actually, I'm trying to think of as way to just have it at the top of the forum instead of inside each individual section.

yeah that would be good, with a big banner like if its a section that says something like: common ranger issues check here before posting

that way the general discussion section wont be full of tech questions.

Problem: "I hear and feel a knocking in the drivetrain with every rotation."
Solution #1: This cab be caused by a broken gear tooth in the trucks rear end.

I just wanted to let you know that there is an error in the "heater core fix" 93-and 94 rangers are a 10 min fix and don't need to take the dashboard apart like it says in the list. My core dropped out the bottom of the plenum just like a 91 ranger.

Another common problem,
Clunk in right side of frontend, while stopping &/or accelerating in 4wd.
Heat from catalytic converter known to melt passenger side radius arm bushing.
Also I've been seeing this a lot more,
No taillights, or no brake lights. (signal and reverse lights still work)
Molded 1-3 splitter in wires(near end of left frame rail), corrode internally.
