hey, names randy and had to ask for an opinion bout me having either water in the motor of a coolant leak. Ok so i dropped a 351w in my 80 f150 bout a year ago, it was rebuilt since i discovered stamped numbers on the rod clamps and cross hatces on the cylinder walls and also just the fact the engine was spotless on the inside. Up to date now i drained my oil for first time in a year, cuz the i didnt run the truck really but i saw it was milky. The engine always had water sitting on it cuz or bad cowl to hood seal tho. The truck never over heats, doesnt not puke coolant, never smoked, and no visible leaks at the head of anything. The only thing i found out was on the right side of the water there is no bolt cuz the stud was never removed...wondered if that might allow coolant slowing leak into the timiing cover. Just let me know what yins think thanks.

There is a Dye you can put into the coolant....most parts stores carry it. if it comes out the suspect area then you've got it pinned down. But that require some steady running, like drive it to work for a couple of days.

How does the spark plugs look? Has compression check been run??

My credo
A legend to the old man, a hero to the child...
If the motor didnt get run its probely just condensation in the oil.

It normally gets burned off once the engine hits temp.

I have an old Farmall tractor that the oil would get milky, turned out being a cracked block.
