I know the cases bolt up the same, but what will need to be done in order to make the the dash light indicators for 4 wheel drive work again.

the manual case has a 2 wiring harness that goes to it. the wiring has to be spliced into the trucks harness near the drivers side fender. the wire colors escape me at the moment...hopefully someone else will chime in.

No splicing required.
there is a weather pack connector near the main firewall connector that
the two-wire harness from the T-case indicator switch plugs into.
the wire colors are pale blue and pale blue with a black stripe.
