Anyone ever use Lucas oil additive in the Mitsubishi 5spd?

Has anyone ever used Lucas oil additive in the Mitsubushi 5spd?

I have an 88, 2.9L, 4x4 ExtCab, with the Mitsubishi 5spd.

It whines some on acceleration so I am going to change the gear oil in it and a buddy suggested I add some of the Lucas oil additive to the tranny at the same time.

I have never used any of the Lucas additives or any additives for that matter, so I wanted to ask if anyone had any experience with Lucas stuff?

Any pros or cons or thoughts about tranny additives?

I used it just to prevent extra wear and tear... it seems to be fine as far as cons... as for pros, it keeps the oil in places to prevent dry conditions... your syncros will thank you.

I'd say go with it... and if they make a synthetic and you're putting in synthetic... keep them the same type... otherwise, it won't hurt anything.
