just like to know witch one is best

Hi guys i got a 1993 ranger 4.0 and she is a 5 speed i am thinking about taking it out and putting in a automatic transmission i like to know what you think is the best thing to do. :icon_confused:

A manual tranny is typically going to get you a couple more MPG. Your engine will also run a tad cooler with a manual unless you have a trans cooler. Autos are better for off road IMO though.

I prefer the stick.. biggest complaint about my 95 vs my 94.
