F-150 fuel gauge not working correctly. filled my pig the other day its a 96 f-150 4x4 5.8l. I know the tank got full cause it litterly poured out of the filler neck. But when i started it up it only whent to half a tank and then it moves all over from full to empty to anywhere in between. This really drives me nuts since the 5.8 is such a pig on gas im worried im gunna run out so ive been packing around a jarry can full of gas. Now the truck sat for about 3 months while i was driving around in my little beater 2.0l ranger so im wondering if anyone has had problems with thier f-150 after it sat for a bit cause my f-150 is in pretty mint condtion still its got a new engine. im thinking it must be a dirty sensor or somthing. Everything worked great before i took it off the road. Im Stuck driving it again Since my 2.0l Ranger is running like a bag of crap. any help or ideas would be great thanks
