new member from Western Mass

truck is currently stock, but future plans are a leveling kit and add-a-leaf springs in the back, a bull bar w/ lights, and a roll bar. and hopefully I will be able to get away with 32x11.50s:D

Welcome to the forum. Im pretty much in the same boat. My truck is going to be bone stock until money starts rolling in (after college) and get it into its proper offroading form.

We need more cute truck driving girls around where I live....

yeah I live in Western MA. near amherst. my truck is stock though so I'm not sure how it would do wheelin.

Hey, me and the GF are here in north east mass, and if there's anything that Andrew can't take care of out there for you I should be able help out. You and my GF would have a blast hanging out talking trucks though I bet heh. She's always hoping for more girls anytime we get together and work on things or hang out or go offroading. There's at least one place that we go offroad that a stock 4x4 can handle if it has at least half decent tires on it.

p.s. If you have any questions or want to bounch ideas off someone just IM me on aim, my screename is in my profile. I know how slow it can be sometimes trying to work out an idea while waiting for responses to questions.

just got new tires with about 90% tread life left off of an 03 ranger. the new rims look pretty nice. i'd be happier if they were wrangler mtr's or super swampers, but oh well.

I have no tools or an area to work on my truck in anymore! I don't even have a jack I can use.
 
I don't know what I would do without my tools... Even though the welder is only 2 months old I can't see how I managed without one for so long HA. And with all the other tools I've managed to collect I still end up not having one that I need every now and then.
 
Hey, Welcome to the forum! Another MA ranger owner here. I am a friend of Andrew (Compleckz). If you look closely in that picture of his, thats me just behind the tree looking at his drive shaft and making sure it that the rock there doesnt own it........ again.


There is a bunch of wheeling that your truck is capable of doing out there. The first time I went out with Andrew I had exactly what your looking at doing. Coil spacer up front, AAL in back and 32/11.5/15 BFG ATs. Only needed to get a little help twice. I will find some pictures and post them in a couple minutes.

i have a bunch of buddies down in amherst that goto umass, i go down and party with them every few weeks. :icon_cheers:

but hey, until you lift your truck, you can always just ride along with one of us. we have a friendly group out here--and go out every few weeks. although its usually just me in the ranger and then a bunch of jeeps :black_eye:

if you need any help on the truck, i've got a garage/tools 45 minutes up I-91N/RT-2W.. front spring swap is easily done in an hour, less if its ever been apart in the last 10 years.. and the rear, AAL is even easier! always fun to help transform a truck :)

That is 1-2" lift and 32/11.5/15. That was this spring. This summer, I made the truck look like this.

That is 4-6" of lift on 33" tires.
 
sexy little truck right there. I like the custom bumper too. The Ranger on the trailer looks like mine haha.
 
PS: tim (metalmac) and i are 21/22, so we aren't creepy old guys trying to get you out wheelin, lol
