2 inch body lift will I need to drop tank to change sending unit ???

Anyone know for sure whether the tank will need to be dropped for a re and re on a 85 bronco II gas tank sending unit the plain jane type with no fuel pump in tank and the bronco II has a 2 inch lift ??

doubt if you can get enough of a angle to pull it out otherwise even with a 2 inch lift.
On my old one i just cut a access hole in the cargo area to access it.

its not that big a deal to remove the tank (at least it wasn't on my 84) unbolt the skid plate, 2 straps then a few hoses and the tank is out. make sure it is near empty before starting.

Yea, you'll have to drop the tank or pull the bed. Personally I'd rather pull the bed to do it, but I've got an A-frame hoist and a number of large trees.
