Has anyone tried it? I think its a much cooler valance than the one I have sitting on the garage... along with fog light brackets that are heavier than my axle pivot brackets, :haha:

no ive never tried it but are you thinkin of selling the brackets, lights and bumper?

Do it up, let us know how it works out. I managed to fit an '04 grill into my '94. You probably won't know till you try it out.

I Will take measurements this weekend and see if it makes sense... maybe make a sketch or something... will keep you posted.

I haven't given any thought on selling the extra parts, but it could be a possibility if I pull this off... Lights went out in a sorta "wild" trip a while ago.... :headbang: Another reason for not liking the setup.... I think those lights are over-exposed... Didn't have the leveling kit in at the time, though...

Does someone know if that thing actually serves for more than just aesthetics? I heard the term "air dam" associated to it before..

That grill looks sweet! was it hard to fit?

The "air dam" does serve for some kind of aerodynamics, but you will never notice it on your Ranger.

It took me 2 hours to put the grill in. mock up- hack saw, mock up- hack saw, ect. Its only the insert from the '04 grill, to put the whole grille in would require much more trimming and an '04-'08 raised power dome hood.

Update...

Took some measurements... did not like how it looked in the end, so I decided to just put back the old valance and fog light brackets... found out the brackets were thrown away by former g/f in one of her garage cleaning sprees... anyways, I will be looking for another bracket set or maybe make new ones... Anyone has made them before? is there any other means of fixing the lights to he valance? as I remember those brackets were reaaally beefy, for some reason....
