Kickdown Cable Adjustment

Need some help guys. Does anyone know the correct way to adjust the kickdown cable on a 1990 Bii with the A4LD tranny 4X4? Sometimes the tranny will kickdown but most of the time it won't.

Try releasing the lock on the firewall and pulling the cable out one or two notches.
That should take care of your lack of kickdown.
