I know there are a few guys here in Calgary and a few guys in Red Deer and other towns between Calgary and Edmonton on these forums. Red Deer just seems like the most convenient place, its central to Southern Alberta. I have a friend in Stettler, and Red Deer is only an hour and a half drive, as where Edmonton is nearly 3 hours. I'm quite positive, that if we were to arange something in Red Deer, that it would have a better Alberta turn out then if we were to have it in Edmonton, or Calgary, I know I'd be more tempted to drive to Red Deer then Edmonton, for a meet, and I'm sure you'd be more tempted to drive to Red Deer then to Calgary for a meet.

Well, I'm kinda partial to red deer...well, cuz I live there so edmonton or calgary isn't much of a jump. I'll try and keep on top of this and meet up with you guys....seems I always miss out on these things by a day or two....

i'd be interested in red deer, no guarantee though. i too live in calgary, so edmonton would be a bit of a haul.

hell yeah i would like to meet some fellow rbv lovers.
i live in edmonton, so yeah i would travel down to red deer.

i have too keep on this thread, i always miss out on these kind of things.

Well now that we've picked a place, I guess its time to pick a day. I'm just going to assume, that most people work Monday - Friday with weekends off. I know its not the case for everyone, but I think that if everyone interested were to post the times that they were able to do this that would be a good next step. Since I'm the low man on the totem pole at work, I won't be able to take a weekday or two off. I'm free weekends only, how about the rest of you Albertans?

same deal with times; weekend only please. and preferably not during stampede or the 2 weekends after cause i got a camping trip on one of those weekends..... :dunno:

You guys are whining (teasin) about the drive from Calgary to Edm. It's 5 hrs for me to Edm!! Red Deer is farther! I would defiantly put in serious effort if there might be some sort of wheeling one day!

IDK if I would road my Bronco that far or trailer it....

So, since I'm the only thats posted up so far thats actually from red deer I suggest the 'Toad and Turtle' as our meeting place. It's a pub/grill, has a large parking lot to check out rigs in, and is close to the highway so it's simple for everyone to get to.....check out google maps on how to get there. As for a time, I'm busy this weekend but after that should be good cept' for maylong of course.
