In 1989 my Dad bought a new Ranger to drive to work in. He drove a lot of miles so he when with just the base model Ranger. We fixed it up by adding a stereo, rear bumper, bed liner, Mustang hood scoop, driving lights, body color bumpers, gold & purple stripes, sport emblems, deluxe tailgate panel painted body color and Enkei wheels. He put well over 200K miles on it and it was still going strong. Until a kid in a Chevelle came across the double yellows and hit the Ranger head on. That's when my Dad ordered a new 2000 Ranger loaded with every option he wanted.
