I just picked up a '99 Jeep TJ but it is in need of passenger side ball joints.
I do not have a manual for this vehicle yet but am wondering how hard it is to dissassmble the wheel bearing/hub set up.

Thanks
Brian

pretty easy.don't take the nut off the end of the hub just remove the wheel/brakes and take off the three bolts on the knuckle that hold the hub on.then remove the axleshaft and hub as one.
4 banger eh?i hope you have 4.56's or 4.88's for that gutless little powerplant.my brother has one with an auto/4cyl and it can hardly get out of its own way

Cool thanks for the info....

I "think" it has 4.30 gears. Its geared very low at any rate and doesn't seem to bad for power but I haven't driven it all that far.
