I just picked up this shady little character last weekend for $500 bucks. The truck runs and drives great (and has ice cold a/c), but it needs some cosmetic work.
It's a 96 and has the 2.3 backed by a 5 speed.
As you can see, she needs some TLC... Here's what I have planned for it.
Interior:
Explorer tweed seats
Explorer full length console
Small stereo set-up (decent coax's in the front, single 8" behind the passenger seat)
Exterior:
Paintable front bumper
Replace bumper filler
Fog light front valance
Color match front end
Replace driverside of bed
Replace tailgate
Roll pan
05+ taillights
Clear turn signal lenses
Soft tonneau cover
Fresh paint - unsure of color
Bullitt wheels
3/4 drop
Engine/Drivetrain
Explorer 5.0 with h.o cam
T5 transmission
Explorer 8.8 with 3:73's, limited slip, disc brakes
I'm just going to hit up pick n pull and get stuff as I find it... so it'll be a bit of a slow process..
