I have a 2000 XLT with the factory radio combo - Radio/CD/Cassette. On the back of the radio are two connectors. The rectangular connection on the right in the picture connects the speakers and power. The wiring diagram for this connector is available elsewhere on this site.

The square connector on the left is probably used for a remote mount CD Changer. Does anyone have a pin-out diagram for this connector? I want to see if it has an amp in or out.

I've looked at pac-audio, but don't want to spend $90 to over $100 for their kit. They do have a connector that plugs into that socket but don't provide much information for it.

USA Spec has an adapter that uses the 20 pin CD Changer Connector, it works great make the OEM Radio sound really good.
BUT the $$$ is a little high, $120.

CVAR, that's the diagram for the speakers and power connections. It doesn't even acknowledge the blank square connector.

Thank. I'm used to the linked words being in a different color indicating the link.
