Looking to get a sling stud bipod for the 336, can't find one that isn't harris and harris is crazy-ass expensive.

anybody got any ideas?

walmart has winchester bipods for around $40 i think. another company called rock mount has one for the same price. you could look at NCstar too, they make cheaper versions of almost anything (red dots, scopes, weapon flashlights, etc.).

they look just like the harris bipods but they arent as nice. they'll fall apart eventually.

Suck it up and get the Harris. It'll outlast 3 or 4 wally world specials & save you money in the long run. Mine moves from my AR to my Mosin to my .22 and back again. Totally worth it.

Suck it up and get the Harris. It'll outlast 3 or 4 wally world specials & save you money in the long run. Mine moves from my AR to my Mosin to my .22 and back again. Totally worth it.

you don't seem to fully appreciate just how much of a cheap-ass i am.

my first post was intended to answer your question. i left out he fact that i replaced my POS walmart bipod with a harris 6-9" back in april. i think i got it for $80-$90 on cheaper than dirt.com.

Bipod on a 336? seems... pointless.
laying in a field for 12 hours waiting for the pigs to show up, i'd rather not have to support my gun the entire time/lay it in the dirt.
