spring under 8.8

I've searched but cant find any thing on 8.8 explorer under axle on a ranger every thing is perch relocated swaps. I'm thinking leave spring under axle and use 4"lift springs. I think that would lower the truck an inch or so? just looking for some feedback I posted on another forum but no ones looking over there

I'm pretty sure that would work out as you say on a 2WD truck (you didn't say what you have), however on a 4x4, remember you'd also lose the stock block in the process, so you'd wind up lowering it a bit over 3".

Look a little harder plenty of street rigs on here and FRF that keep the spring under config. Most of them are lowered street trucks.

its RWD I've welded on new perches but need new springs so I'm just weighing my options. I;ve read spring under handles better and has less chance for axle wrap/wheel hop. I would like to run cobra 10" wheels. I'll start another thread
