It is hard to believe I used to drive on that road...
I29 is supposed to be pretty screwed up too.
The main thing through all of this though was that South Dakota's recreation industry was never in danger or running out of water.
Seriously though, they haven't done too bad. This used to be a fairly common thing and it hasn't happened since the 50's so they must be doing something halfway right.
