leaf spring??

99 ranger middle spring in pack broke....can i remove it and replace with add a leaf dont have the cash for two new leafs
 
Yes, but make sure the keep the springs in order, shortest at the bottom of the pack. I'd do both sides too. Unless you have the AAL laying around, I'd think a set of used springs would be similar in cost if not cheaper.
