I posted in my other thread and made it my sig pic, but was curious if anyone had any input?

My truck has a 98-00 4X4 grill on it with teeth, and my lower bumper is a 98-01 Mounty bumper.

I was planning on doing the 01-03 EDGE headlights/turnsignals/grill conversion, but kinda like the end result of the 98 combo with the mounty bumper.

Should I keep it? Change it? Should I buy black housing headlights/signals and paint my bumper to match the body color? *That is the plan currently*

What do you all think of my bumper?

Too much gap for me but I like the bumper, kind of like the STX. I'd leave the headlights but go with the body paint to match. You know everyone's tastes are different. Maybe post down in the Photoshop section and have the bumper colored?

i like the look, though id add more teeth. they look a bit too spaced out. also, bumper gap is off as mac said. but then again, i spent about 45 minutes ligning up my bumper. (im an anal guy)

Looks good! make it how you like it. i personally love what ive done, jsut gotta find what your looking for man!

nice truck BTW, excited to see the install on the parts

Dan, found the picture of the '05' STX I had (dummy sold it). Thought the gap was smaller.

looks like the bumper had to many botox injections.:D
I also think if you closed the gap, it would look alot better.

I thought we weren't allowed to have pics in our sigs. Trying to keep the place dial-up friendly. :icon_confused:

^^^what he said, Bro. Dude!!! It just doesn't fit correctly, not at all!!! Why is it so low to the ground....does it brush up the debris like a street sweeper??

if you modify your brackets you can get a really nice tight gap with the bumper.

fix the gap and ditch the teeth and it would look decent.

Bingo, I'll be modifying the brackets over this weekend to fix the gap (already planned on that), it bothered me as well, I was more curious what you all thought of the look of that bumper with the 98-00 front clip.

^^^what he said++++++MORE. That is just one ugly bumper!!! The truck looks so nice with that right amount of lowered stance you have. I would not use that bumper, Bro.

I think it has more to do with thread readability. Some forums out there every member has 4 sig pics, you can't hardly tell what is actual discussion vs. what is fat, it becomes very distracting from the topic at hand.
