the question is,do and should keep the cat? and if i have to should replace my old one to be safe? i will still have emissions done so wat do ya think? i hate the sound my 2.9 has right now beacuse of the 3 3inch holes it has.....it sounds like a go kart:idiot:
 
If your cat is bad, replace it with an aftermarket universal cat and get a regular ol' Flowmaster 40 series. That combo has a nice tone & will not produce a "drone" in the cab when it exits at the rear of the truck.
