If I wanted to move my axle back an inch to help clear the fenders....will the 1-piece driveline I've swapped in still have enough travel on the slip joint? Or will it be to short. Just by visual inspection it looks like at static ride height that the slip joint is 60% ish collapsed. Just wondering anybody knows how much travel the 1-piecers have...

Thanks :icon_thumby:

I've got a couple spares out in the shop, I could get one out and measure it for ya if needed!

The driveshaft shop I went to for my new shaft looked it up in their books and it says the '98+ one-piece shafts have 3" of total slip. Assuming it is in the center of it's travel and you move it and inch, that just leaves half an inch travel in the direction.
