Ok my speakers when out all of a sudden and my subs are the only thing working i thought there was going to be a loose wire or something but i cant find anything ive looked everywhere anyone else ever have this problem or know of a idea ?????

Mine has done this a few times in the past week. I believe mine is caused by having a speaker removed at the moment, and the + and - wires hitting the metal dash.

yea the speakers are the next place im looking when i got time working long hours so dont have much time right now

Make sure to double check all of the connections, heat-shrink or tape anything that could contact metal. Check the factory grounds as well to make sure none have came loose.

I'll second everyone else, double check connections and dont overlook anything!

I lost my left speaker twice already, turned out to be a failed crimp behind the head unit...

yea i went thur everything slowly and twice and still dont see a thing that could be causing this

you could try connecting the speaker output wires from the deck to a spare speaker see if its the wirering or if just the deck is dead

Use a 9 volt battery to test the speaker as well. + to + and - to -; simple test to make sure the coil isn't shot.

Is it an aftermarket deck? Check the fuses on the back of it if it is. Also check any ground straps behind the deck wiring. Is it just one speaker or all of them?
