Name's Jay. I just bought a 2007 Ranger XLT 4x4 with the 4.0L SOHC with the Mazda 5-Speed Manual
I have had this truck for about 2 months and I love it. Despite my clutch issues...
So far everything is stock, that I am aware of, except for the larger tires and new single DIN stereo I put in.
I have some ambitious plans for the truck but they are taking a back seat until I correct a couple minor issues with the clutch and fuel system.
Truck runs well considering the issues. When I test drove the truck I notice the thing had a ton of power waiting for someone to release it. I remember spinning the rear wheels several times completely by accident. The truck just wants to go and it wants to go in a hurry.
I know with a little work I can have an awesome beast of a truck.
Anyhow, I found this place while looking for a good place to buy parts online. I read through the resources and the forums and this place feels like it will be a great resource for helping me work on my new truck. I am looking forward to using this site and getting to know the other ranger owners here.
