New plastic mouldings front/rear bumpers

Does anyone know if they can be painted or how to get new ones? I was told the tabs will snap if I pull the moulding and step pad off! All I could find was new bumpers they are way too much money. :icon_confused:

If your going for black buy some showroom new platic dye. I bough some off ebay did my front valence takes the faded gray back to black and its a dye not a paint so it wont chip.

you can remove the items that your talking about ,but be patient as you need a pair of pliers to pinch the clips together & then push the trim piece outward going one at a time. I did it to both my front bumper & rear bumper on my 94 so I could get the bumpers color matched to the truck.

i used the dupli color out of the rattle can and it works great just prep with a good sand paper i used 3 different grits 80,100 then 120 it looks great and its cheap hahahaha i think around 20 or 25 bucks
