Saw this about a year ago. I laughed all the way through it...especially at the arabs! LMAO!!! That's how we can win in Afghanistan. Sell them a bunch of these things and tell them the butt-plate is supposed to rest on their forehead!

I wonder what the ballistics are on it and how accurate it is? Seems like it will probably put a hole the size of a basketball thru anything out to a half mile but I bet it drops fast after that. But would be fun to try once and then let my shoulder heal :)

You dont even have to hit it either. Just let the recoil send you flying out of harms way.

You mean like this?? The part I'm referring to is around the 2:25 mark. My pant would be plenty brown after this. :icon_surprised:

I'll take my SKS, thanks. That's just plain dangerous to everyone in the vicinity.

I believe that weapon is illegal to own in the US. Iirc it is illegal to own any weapon that fires a projectile larger than half an inch in diameter. Thats why there is controversy over .50 cal bmg rounds. The unfired round is actually .512" while the barrel bore is only .500" so technically they are legal because as a projectile they are in fact half an inch.

Depends on how many times it bounces off the ground. :icon_thumby:

It isn't the actual dimension itself, there must be something tied to the performance. Here it is easier to buy a .54 cal muzzleloader than a .22LR.

The problem with a .50BMG, is it is a .50BMG not that it is a .50.

Any centerfire rifle (maybe pistol too?) over .5" bore is considered a "destructive device" according to the ATF. Black powder and shotguns over .5" bore are exempt from DD status.
