Is there mutch of a difference between a 1984 F250 frame, and a 1982 F150 frame.....being that I want to put a 6.9 in a F150 that used to have a 351.

I believe the front of the f250 is a boxed frame vs a c channel for the f 150. Other than that i dont know if the frame is any thincker or not

the frame is probably thicker. i believe that both would be boxed in the front like our rangers.

best way to do it would be to get the whole f250, put it right next to the 150 and swap away.

actually the frames are going to be identical, the diesel will most likely have bigger crossmembers, different engine crossmember but the frame rails are going to be the same, the main difference between 3/4 ton and 1/2 ton trucks is the suspension and axles, 5-lug vs 8-lug, dana 60 or 70 rear vs 9 inch, wider leaf springs, heavier coils ect. ect.

is the f150 2wd or 4wd?
is it going to be lifted?

you are gonna most likely want to swap some better axles under there but without knowing what you are gonna use it for or how tall it is going to be its kinda hard to see what you are doing...

Crossmemebers, motormounts, engine bolt patterns for the bellhousing, all that stuff is different.

Plus, changing the fuel system is a must, and hooking up the glow plugs.
